July 11, in summary

it was really hot today which probably explains why i stink a lot right now. i get a whiff of my sweaty scalp and i cringe because other people may think i naturally smell bad. hahaha.

anyway, i managed to get a lot done today. 101 was just pure lecture from sir bernal which got boring at times but he livens it up with all his name-dropping haha. and 182 was cancelled since maam paredes didn't show up. hallelujah. because i really didn't study. super dead if ever because i would have gotten a zero on that quiz. i hadn't even read the chapter and i was asleep when they were discussing the latter half of it in class. so, thank you, lucky stars, for this small miracle.

after that, along with pia and donna, i went back to freeform to pick up the CAP calling cards i have been working on since May. when i got them, all i felt was pure joy at seeing what i made come to life. sure, it wasn't the best quality paper (regular vs. matte! huhu) but it looked decent enough and it will suffice for the purpose since we're only students anyhow.

pia, donna, and i had lunch at Long Island in the CMC building and got to talking about books, music, and celebrities in general. i just love conversations like that :) i ran into a lot of people there like honey, pam, and pia's friend kyla. too bad i didn't see celina though. i may have better luck in the CBA building haha.

i went with donna to her manning shift at the econ booth where we just viewed pictures on jules' photobooth. saw some surprising stuff but it was mostly just her in makeup. hihi. then the reason i stuck around school in the first place came to be: the x-marketing meeting. a market research learning session and figuring out why there are so many fallouts between sign-ups and expo.

then the trek back to my car which was in some quasi-flood in the back parking of vinzon's. huhu. had to get my rubber shoes wet to get to the driver's entrance but that was really the fastest way to get there. gahh why are there so many cars in BA all the damn time?

passed by the laundry to get clothes and now i'm home. soooo...plan for the rest of the day:

• 101: read chapter 5 + our case
• 182: make a study guide for the quiz on friday
• 114.1: read finacc 3 from chapter 1 until wherever i can manage
• 141: answer the first 4 items in the homework
• 161: study until you just can't do it no more

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. LEGGO.

P.S. I really miss having my own laptop. Anyone kind enough to give me a macbook pro? :D
