Missing Things

we had our math 100 second long exam today. gawd. why can i never take math seriously? i'm pretty sure i failed it. i know i didn't study as hard as i should have. or maybe i studied hard but not long enough. i don't even hate math anymore. to hate it, i would have to understand it, which i don't. sure, i can blame my sucky math teacher all i want, but in the end, it's me who's gonna fail. goodness gracious. note to self, take math seriously. you need to if you want to make it to CS at the very least. you wanker.

after the completely depressing math exam, i went with my ABAM buddies to the workshop on public speaking. turns out, it was more of an exercise on how to debate and not make yourself sound like an idiot. the guy who was conducting was obviously from debsoc and he is clearly required to be intimidating. i was totally not expecting it to be like that. it was so much better. that's how you conduct a workshop. i am both amazed and scared which is a really good thing. i had to leave early because of my exam in geology tomorrow. sigh. one thing i remember most that he said was, you can tell if a person is repressed. i don't know if he could tell, but i was repressed. i didn't realize how much i missed debating. how i wish i stuck with it and became good at it. i missed thinking critically and the sense that logic will win out in the end. not looks, not popularity, not charisma, but logic. in a way, i can only compare true justice to debates. where everything is ideal but realistic at the same time. siiiiiigh. i really do miss it.

now, i have to surf the internet some more and start studying for that friggin' exam later. fucking geol. fucking geohazards. all i want to do is sleep.
