I felt like a kid today. not in a carefree way or anything. mostly in the way that i dressed.
feeling like shit after barely three hours of sleep, i pulled on my white harry potter shirt, my too-long jeans, and my ancient vans which is the ultimate symbol of comfort (i may never give them up). i even wore my lucky green underwear which i've worn so much. basically, i just wore clothes that told people i didn't give a shit about my appearance. that bothers me because i care what people think and i don't want them to think i don't know how to dress.
it has always annoyed me when people go to class in their pambahay. fine, we get it. you live on campus. you're at leisure to wake up 15 minutes before class and you still won't be late. you can wear tsinelas because, hey, it's not against the rules! fucking hell to be honest.
i may not have it in me to be a fashionista. i will never put that much thought into my clothing. but i will say that i care about looking polished, looking clean, looking respectable.
today, i felt small in my clothes. they don't need to talk to me to know that i didn't have much time this morning to put together something aesthetically pleasing. or maybe no one cares and as long as i have a smile, no one really pays attention. i guess dressing up is just another form of self-expression and i don't like presenting myself as a slob. i would put more thought in to it if i can manage to sleep before 3 AM in the morning.
seriously. my body clock is seriously messed up. i all but slept through my entire 180.1 class yesterday. today, i just drank coffee in the morning and it seemed to work.
i have to study now for my 181 exam tomorrow. simplex method, here we go. please be nice to me. gusto ko ng uno, okay?
good news for the day: the 181 exam is at 9 AM which means donna and i have a valid reason for missing CWTS. huzzah!
