i woke up today at 10:30 AM for a movie marathon at tenten's house that was supposed to start at 12 noon. i get to quezon ave and there's not a single a. bonifacio jeep passing by. so i do what i've been doing for the past sem, walk to wherever i need to be at. i'm near STC and a jeep arrives! i run after it, scared that the stoplight would turn green. thank goodness a lot of people got on and a lot of people got in so the jeep couldn't leave even if the light was green already. thank goodness the road sloped downhill so i could run faster. made it to the jeep, sweating like a pig. i reach mcdo retiro and no one's there so i dry off in the bathroom and order a ruby sprite to lose the sweat marks. around 10 minutes pass by and in walks mikka and gloria. the last two people i expected to see at mcdo that day. so we sit together and chat. apparently, they're waiting for belay and they're just gonna hang out like friends do. patgreg arrives and she has no trouble chatting me up and telling me stories about her life as well as other people's lives. haha! typical patgreg :) belay arrives and we take that as our cue to leave and go to tenten's house. we were waiting for jem or kyla to arrive but sadly, they never did. i took some chicken nuggets with me as we took a tricycle to tenten's house. facebook-ing, ym-ing, chatting (irl), all that good stuff ensued as we waited for more people to arrive before we start our movie marathon. mia arrived, bearing food. and koko soon after.
lots of laughing, lots of kwento, lots of junk food, and 2 fail DVDs later, we settled for watching regular tv. the delivery from mcdo took forever. lots of twister fries and coke floats later, my mom called me on my phone telling me i need to get my ass back home. so here i am, in a totally good mood, thanking god for my friends for they are truly awesome.
