i'm so sad that my friend decided not to continue on in the org we're applying to. i kinda got the feeling that we were supposed to be in it together, the three of us. now, there's just two of us and things won't be the same. okay, i understand that she really wants to shift and the org probably won't be helpful to her but it hurts all the same. i hate to say it but i feel led on. or in a more expressive tagalog term, pinaasa. i know it's not like that and she has good intentions but i can't help feeling sad about the whole thing. this doesn't change how i feel about the org. though it does lessen some of my excitement for it. the org is really a great place with good people who are just extremely nice and welcoming people. i have no problem being proud of saying i'm gonna join that org anymore because i've truly had some good times there so far. nevertheless, this whole debacle has taught me something that i forgot already. don't do things half-assed. if you're gonna start something, you better finish it and do it well. i don't blame my friend for her decision. i'm not even mad at her (i don't have a right to be, anyway). she has her reasons. i know from experience that if someone wants something enough, they'll find a way to do it. so it ends there. i know i have no right to feel disappointed when nothing is set in stone. but i am, all the same. goes to show just how much i don't know yet about that friend of mine. i hope things work out for the best and that the sem ends happily for all of us.
